Hospitality Operator

Job description:

  • You will be the main reference for the information and requests of our Guests. You will be successful using your natural relational capacity in terms of communication, empathy and the creation of solutions with a view to optimizing the service;
  • Being responsible of all the onboard services and departmental procedures (such as luggage handling, lost & found) providing accurate and timely information to Guests and manage their requests;
  • Performing multiple tasks without compromising the quality of delivery (such as wake-up calls, public announcements, external calls, fax, Internet, e-mail, internal and satellite calls from shore to ship, cabin safety boxes assistance);
  • Providing assistance with embarkation and disembarkation operational tasks giving substantial support to the Hospitality team in dealing with department priorities;
  • Providing constant feedback about the most frequent requests of the nationality groups or remarks received to evaluate the cruise atmosphere.

Tour Expert

Job description:

  • Assures revenue targets achievements and Guest satisfaction on tour programs proposing tour packages during the cruise and assisting Guests on local excursions in adherence with Company’s safety standards;
  • Maximizes revenues for the tours area suggesting new opportunities in accordance with Tour Manager guidelines;
  • Monitors Guest activities during excursions to ensure compliance with service standard and safety procedures;
  • Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with Guests on-board and on tours to generate new business selling package tours in accordance with budgeted targets;
  • Organizes back office activities and prepares all support material (i.e. ticket, stickers, maps) before sightseeing to provide adequate organization at tours starting, and checks the correctness of the final disembarkation transfers assignments in accordance with Tour Manager guidelines and planning;
  • Takes active part in a work environment that support a successful safety culture. Is a dynamic contributor in following safety policy and procedures.
